Jeanette and Ed "Swede" Carlson, two of our devoted volunteers, were recently celebrated on the Metro Section of today's Plain Dealer. The octogenarian from North Royalton doesn't like to talk much about the work she and her husband have done for decades. We like it," she said. "We get a lot out of it." Her husband, a former boilermaker, agreed. Said her friend, Neal: "Once you get caught up with her, it's a whirlwind." The residents of Saint Herman's express their heartfelt thanks for all they have done for us over the years.
